Ok, we now have 5 players. Just a couple quick questions on 1 or 2 of them (PM's being sent) and we should be good to start. I will work up the intro post and open a new thread for that this weekend and we can go from there.

Everyone's character is pretty much done but for some last minute tweaking.
Some this I wanted to bring up.
From the information I have seen, ammunition and clothing wasn't really an issue and all of you could have easily stocked up by looting the dead as the march went on so tracking that stuff is not really important, unless you fall in water and need dry clothes.
Items that WILL be tracked and important are things like wounds, food and water. These will be factored into your stats and skills when you attempt to accomplish tasks. Wounds are DEADLY but anyone with Healing skill can attempt to treat wounds (even those without the skill can too but chances are they could very easily make it worse). You can treat wounds more efficiently if you have medical supplies (none of you start with any). Lack of food/water causes fatigue. Too much fatigue and you are no longer mobile, meaning death by freeing or starvation, unless someone carries you, causing them extra fatigue.
Basically, I will try to make this 'realistic' in that you are not superheroes, death permanent disfigurement is a real possibility.
NOTE: Each of you have 3 LUCK tokens. Anytime you are impacted by a negative event, you can 'claim LUCK'. You can spend one in an attempt to offset that negative event such as missing a very critical shot, negate a wound, redo an important failed skill check, etc. You just need to PM me, that you wish to spend one and what for and if successful, I will edit the post where the even happened and adjust the storyline from there as needed. You only have 3 and can gain no more so use them wisely.

Anyone familiar with the OOB of this particular episode of the campaign ?
I need a Hussar regiment and medium cadre general for my backstory - I believe Ney commanded the rear guard, but he's too big and famous..
Which generals served under him, cavalry in particular ?

Snowy, almost all French Corps retreating from Moscow were involved in battle at Krasnoe, except maybe Imperial Guard so your soldier could be from any of those Corps.

DD, we could use some fresh input.
As PCs we have sort of spent our action on the information availalble.

No hard promisses made by DD.
DD wrote in the other threasd: "when I post, I'll let the information sit for a few days to give everyone a chance to 'act'."
'Few days' have passed and 'everyone has acted'

Snowy, according to Russian sources Ney in battle had only part of his Corps ~6000 men. And there was only one squad of cavalry in those 6000. So you can pick probably any cavalry unit that Ney had in the battle of Borodino (French OOB can be find in internet) or actually from any unit because most of the stragglers were moving with or behind Ney`s Corps.

I was going to try and keep it to about 1, maybe 2 posts a week but this may be too slow. I will post again this weekend and then pick up the pace into next week and hopefully not leaving anyone behind.
