Con Thien - September 21, 1967

Anyone who was at Con Thien on September 21, 1967 and would like to share knowledge of the battle that raged that day, please respond. I am trying to put together a first person account of the battle. 15 Marines were killed that day (some reports say 16) and were left on the field for 3 weeks until their bodies could be retrieved. Apparently, at least one was alive when left and was later captured by the NVA. He died a few days later. Were you there? What did you see? What do you know? Any information won't change the outcome but may help with understanding what happened that day.
